| All About Chris Hello all! My name is Chris Boldovici. So here's a bit about me. I am married to a wonderful man who does not mind my crazy craftiness. We've been together 30 years and married 23 years this June. No kids; just a never-ending stream of furry family members. I am now a self-employed professional pet-sitter and have worked in just about every aspect of the veterinary field (short of actually “being” a vet) for 28 years prior to this. I have been crafting from the time I could talk...according to my mother. It comes naturally to me as most of my family does some type of crafts from card-making to scrap-booking to word working, silver-smithing & beyond. I am addicted to card-making though! I have been making handmade cards since about 1995, off & on. In the past 5 years or so I have become seriously addicted! I love everything about card making from the papers, trimmings, lace, rubber stamps, digi's, to coloring and just everything about it!! As a periodic diversion, I also make handmade soaps, lotions, bath-salts & the like... mostly as gifts for friends & family members. I got started in card-making through a very sweet, dear lady who I became friends with when she was a volunteer at a veterinary clinic I worked at many years ago. She had asked me to come over to her place on a day off to help her make invitations for her son's wedding. When I arrived, she had a shoebox full of rubber stamps and inks and papers and oh my gosh...I was hooked. I had never seen rubber stamps before that, but I knew I had to have some of my own afterwards! And the rest is history.... I am so honored to have been chosen as a Guest Designer for Gecko Galz and I hope you enjoy and get some inspiration from my creations. Happy Crafting, Chris Boldovici |
